Since the Braddock family’s first keel boat in 1989 Hayden has crewed and skippered for tens of thousands of miles, trained and worked as a boatbuilder, and surveyed yachts throughout New Zealand and the Pacific. Hayden bought his first launch in 2015, with the confidence to maintain and improve a powerful and complex boat after a career in the engine room of the Cook Strait ferries.
